A local developer worked to restore this historic home in Professorville, updating the amenities and features while respecting the original character. This project involved a minor addition to the rear, combined with some interior room configurations on the first and second floors, which totally improved the kitchen and master suite. A full basement was carefully added below the entire residence, with a game room, guest suite, laundry, and office corner tucked within the stairwell. The total finished residence was about 3500 sf. The project also received high praise for its historic preservation efforts. It was recently put on the market after its restoration was complete, selling within the first few days.
