This new two story French Country style home in Atherton was set on the site at a 45° angle with a landscape entry court to embrace the corner lot, and the angled wings of the floor plan to maximize the square footage. This project also inlcuded a full basement with an exercise room, play room, media room and wine cellar. A sunken driveway court sloped down to a three-car garage, also in the basement. A small poolside cabana mimicked the architecture of the main house, and together with the pool and deck area, bar-b-que area, and rose garden, worked to enhance the indoor-outdoor relationships.
